It's time to join the Viewmont Wrestling Team!
Wrestling practice begins November 11th at 2:45 pm in the VHS wrestling room. There is a MANDATORY PARENT MEETING on October 23rd at 6:00 pm in the school library. Parents and wrestlers can join the GroupMe group called "VHS Wrestling 2025." You can also contact Coach Gibbs with any questions at viewmontwrestlingcoach@gmail.com.

Trying to figure out your college and career options can be challenging. Come to the Northern Utah STEM Expo on Monday, November 4, 2024 to help make that career exploration dynamic and fun!
Come meet with industry experts and employers, and learn about your STEM career options through informational panels and hands-on activities. Choose up to 3 panel sessions, or spend some time interacting with companies in the Expo Hall. Buses and lunch will be provided.

The 5A Girls State Tennis Championships begin on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

The First Round is played at Brighton High School with play beginning at 9:00am.
For Viewmont, the following players are participating in the 5A State Tournament:
1st Singles: Emily Bowen - First Round Bye
2nd Singles: Sophia Robison - Plays in the 1st Round (9:00am)
3rd Singles: Cara Vogrinec - First Round Bye
1st Doubles: Mia Sneddon/Audrey Holman - Plays in the 1st Round (9:00am)
2nd Doubles: Elanor Anderson/Bailey Swan - Plays in the 1st Round (9:00am)
The 2nd Round and Quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, October 3 at Liberty Park - Matches begin at 9:00am.
Semi-Finals and Finals will be played on Saturday, October 5 at Liberty Park - Matches begin at 9:00am.
Spectators will be required to purchase a ticket for the matches at Liberty Park.
Come watch our Viewmont Vikings play Box Elder in football this Friday night at Box Elder.

A note from Box Elder: Please have your student body and patrons park in the main north parking lot (the big parking lot on the north end of our building). Your fans will enter the
visiting team stands using the East entrance, and sit on the East side of the football stadium. The concession stand is on the south-west side of the stadium and the restrooms are in the main building entering through the north doors.

TONIGHT is the VHS Performing Arts Showcase! Come to the VHS stadium tonight (September 23rd) beginning at 6:00 pm. Free Admission! There will be food trucks and great performances by our VHS choirs, guitar club, jazz band, orchestra, marching band and color guard.

HOMECOMING WEEK is in full swing here at Viewmont High School! This morning we had our Homecoming Assembly. It was a lot of fun and we got to see who our Homecoming Royalty is this year! Congratulations to all who performed and participated! It was a lot of fun!
Join the 2024-25 Viewmont Swim Team! We will be having Open Swim times on A days September 17th - 27th from 2:40 pm - 4:00 pm at the South Davis Rec Center. Everyone is welcome to come. No evaluations will be done during this time. Come swim, meet the team, and get some exercise.---- Swim Team Evaluations ("tryouts") will happen on September 30th - October 4th from 2:40 pm to 4:00 pm. Please talk to Coach Jessie Trauner in room 102 with any questions.

Kicked off Homecoming Week with another successful Whitewashing of the V!
Today our students came out to show support to our first responders in remembrance of September 11th. We lined the street outside of Viewmont High School to cheer on those amazing men and women. Thank you for all you do for us and our community!
Our students had a wonderful time at Club Rush today during lunch! We are excited about all of our student clubs at Viewmont! Come check them out during the Homecoming parade next Friday at 3:00!
